Pool & Garden Care in Göcek: What a Weekly Service Should Include

The pool and the garden are why you bought a villa in Göcek — and they are also the two things that punish neglect fastest in this climate. The pool: chemistry first, cleaning second

A blue pool is chemistry, not luck. Every weekly visit should include: surface skimming and floor vacuuming, emptying skimmer baskets and the pump pre-filter, measuring pH and chlorine and dosing accordingly (target pH 7.2–7.6, comfortable, odour-free water), a filter pressure check with backwash when needed, and a quick inspection of the pump and fittings. In a Göcek July, chemistry drifts within days — which is why "every two weeks" quietly becomes "occasionally green". The garden: this climate does not do "low maintenance"

Rain-fed winters and irrigated summers mean things grow here.
